In industrial production, the bearing is an important parts in the mechanical equipment and can not be missing. Its main function is to support the mechanical rotating body and reduce the friction in the process of. the relative movement. According to the different frictional properties of the motion element, bearings can be divided into sliding bearing and rolling bearing. The performance of bearings, precision and reliability life will directly affect the working performance of the whole machine.This paper presents a radial tolerance and multi-prism shaped piezoelectric squeezer used to a new type of squeeze film bearing. In different with the traditional bearing, it is a new type of non-contact bearing which is put forward in recent years. And it has important significance in reducing friction, improving the bearing performance and improving the precision of bearing. Firstly, this paper designs the structure of the piezoelectric squeezer, which is the key component of the squeeze film bearing. The piezoelectric squeezer is composed of multiprism shaped metal thin-walled cylinder and a piezoelectric ceramic. This structure can constitute a radial closed film space between squeeze film bearing and shaft, which increases the radiation area, reduces friction and improves the suspension stability, precision rotation, work efficiency and so on. On this basis, the electro-mechanical equivalent circuit of radial vibration of piezoelectric squeezer is constructed by using the theory of elastic mechanics, the theroy of piezoelectric ultrasonic vibration and the method of electromechanical analogy. And then the resonant frequency equation and the anti-resonant frequency equation of piezoelectric squeezers are derived. After that, the modal and harmonic response of piezoelectric squeezer is analyzed in order to get the resonant frequency, the anti-resonance frequency and the maximum radial amplitude. At this frequency, the radial deformation of piezoelectric squeezer is regular.
