Piezoelectric transformer has some advantages, for example small, light weight, boost high and no electromagnetic pollution characteristics, stable, safe and reliable, also has a good solution to solve the problem of the heavy, defects and poor anti-interference ability with traditional electromagnetic transformers. So it is very consistent with the development of electronic systems trend and expected to replace the electromagnetic transformer in a large range. It will become the first choice for the transformation of voltage level. At present, the piezoelectric transformer electronic information systems has played a very important role, but in greater range, its development and application is still limited by some shortcomings:the high-power output, too much reliance on the resonant frequency etc.In this paper, the piezoelectric transformer equivalent circuit models was analyzed, and then export the equivalent circuit model of multi-layer piezoelectric transformer, based on piezoelectric physical theory. Next, the single and multi-layer piezoelectric transformer vibration modes were analyzed by finite element method.We established a theoretical model of multilayer piezoelectric transformer and the equivalent circuit through piezoelectric transformer equivalent model theory. In this paper, the multi-layer piezoelectric transformer and improved single piezoelectric transformer's models were analyzed by the finite element software ANSYS. We would get some parameters:resonant frequency, displacement amplitude and so on. And test circuit was designed to measure the piezoelectric transformer. The results show that the single and multi-layer piezoelectric transformers design was correct and reasonable in this paper. It's useful for high-gain, high power piezoelectric transformer, and provides a certain theoretical ideas for the rapid development of piezoelectric transformer.
