As the soaring crisis of energy and environmental problems, the new traffic tools characterized by low carbon and environment, enjoys more and more people’s lover. The accumulator, as its main energy carrier and power source, its service life determines the running cost of electric cars. However, the battery is a complex system, which parameter is time-variable and nonlinear, the traditional PI control can’t be used in the charging process. In this paper’s control system, I use a new method combined fuzzy control and genetic algorithm to realize intelligent control.Put the lead-battery as example, this paper begins with the working principle of the accumulator, then expounds the solution of polar phenomenon in charging process, regular charging methods and controlling means of charging terminate. After multiple analyses, I conform the charging method, multiple constant current and pulse current charge, which suits the decrease trend of the accumulator’s acceptable charging current and the pulse current can weaken the polar produced in charging.The system of accumulator is time-variable and nonlinear, the traditional PI control can’t be used in the charging sysytem, however, the fuzzy control can realize the control of nonlinear object. After analyze the character of fuzzy control and PI, I combine the two controls in the charging system, but the control rules can’t be adjusted accordingly in the process of control. In order to acqure a better output result, I combine the regular control and some intelligent control methods, to form fuzzy PI control based on GA optimization, which use GA to optimize the correction factor of the rulers in the fuzzy control. This method can regulate the value of the correction factor in real-time according to system state, to make the difference between actual charging current and acceptable maximum charging current as small as possible, and decrease the outgoing gas and polarization of charging. So this method can ensure the service life of accumulator, meanwhile, increase the efficiency of charging.At last, I conclude all works I did, and point out some problems such as efficient determined methods of stopping charging and balanced charging when serviced for a set of accumulator, needs to be resolved in the controlling system.
