Diesel was classified as 10 #、0 # 、10 # 、20 # 、35 # and-50# depending on the physical properties. The grade of diesel needs to be replaced according to the ambient temperature of the diesel engine. Compared with the high-grade diesel fuel, low-grade diesel has larger molecular weight, relatively poor low temperature fluidity, materialized and evaporation, resulting in their failure in meeting the requirements of the normal operation of the diesel engine at low temperatures. To solve the problem of diesel fuel under low-temperature environment, diesel of appropriate label should be selected and certain preheat measures should be taken.Compared with low-grade diesel, high-grade diesel fuel has relatively poor economic and environmental performance. In this paper, problems and corresponding measures of China’s existing diesel vehicles in the low-temperature environment have been investigated and analyzed. A relatively reasonable fever diesel fuel preheating system was proposed, according to the inherent physical properties of diesel fuel. The preheat system can solve the problem of diesel engine using in low temperature environment, and can achieve a win-win economic and environmental. The low temperature combustion diesel fuel preheating system is consists of circulating coolant preheating system, exhaust system and electric preheat system. The system put forward a preheat storage scheme on the basis of making full use of the truck and diesel engine coolant heat exhaust heat.After a full analysis of the feasibility of the low consuming fuel preheating system, an in-depth development of the preheating system was conducted. Firstly, the warm-up program of each link of preheating system was determined and was analyzed by means of a physical model validation. Secondly, a three-dimensional model of the truck body structure was established on Pro / Engineer and further the virtual installation distribution of the cryogenic combustion preheating system was achieved. Finally, the design of the electronic control part of the preheating system was completed according to requirements and operational procedures.The research takes the demand as guidance, the technology as foundation, the development as the method, the resolution as purpose,on the basis, a fever diesel fuel preheating system was deeply developed through a series of procedure including study analysis, theoretical calculation, model design, assembly confirmation and so on. Finally a set of preheating system has been designed. The design is reasonable, scientific and realistic. What’s more it can improve the use of diesel vehicles.
