As an effect clean and renewable energy, wind power has obtained great development both at home and abroad in recent years, in which, the doubly fed induction generator(DFIG) has become the mainstream wind turbine because of its outstanding advantages. With the increasing of the capacity of wind farms, the impact on the power system is also growing. Taking into account the impact of wind farms on power system, the research about DFIG wind farm modeling is more and more important. So in this paper, the author made double-fed wind turbines for the study, and made in-depth study in simulation modeling of double-fed wind power generation system and equivalent modeling of wind farms. Meanwhile, some results of theoretical and practical had been achieved.The paper studied the working principle of doubly-fed wind turbine, and established detailed mathematical models, which including wind turbine model, induction generator model and transmission system model. In addition, a Lissaman model which considers complex terrain has been established.The paper proposed suitable method of coherency identification and spectral clustering algorithm based on the diffusion distance which according to the actual operation state quantity of wind farm. It is compared with traditional single machine and the two-machine model, and proved that the simulation results were more precise.The principle of Monkey Algorithm was introduced. According to the theory of wind farms equivalent modeling, a wind farm parameters polymerization process based on an improved Monkey Algorithm was proposed which on the basis of the weighted average equivalent method. Meanwhile, in this paper, simulation and equivalence calculation of wind farms were conducted in the Matlab / Simulink simulation platform.Wind farm internal collector network model was analyzed in detail, and a method based on Monkey Algorithm was proposed. Based above-mentioned, the proposed method was proved effective and necessary under simulation.
