Researches On The Landscape Design Of Former Residences Of Celebrities Based On The Protection Of The Traditional Style

With the continuous improvement of social life quality, vigorously development of the tourism industry, the increasing demand of landscape and rising revolutionary tourism,the former residences of celebrities have become a new driving force for the growth of a region or a city. At the same time, they are also the important national historical and cultural heritage and precious cultural resources. There are some questions worth to be taken serious consideration. For example, how people can find the former residences of celebrities embody its profound cultural implication, to display its deep humanity background, to create its unique scenic environment, and the protection of its precious traditional style.Due to the neglect of historic connections in the nowaday’s landscape planning and designing, it is hard to inherit and protect the traditional style of the former residences and its surroundings. Many ancient residences become a city park without a theme, nor a soul. So the landscape design for the former residences of celebrities should be based on the inheritance and protection of its traditional style,to leave unique impression on the tourists’ mind through the landscape elements, to create beautiful harmonious environments, and moreover, to give people a more profound ideological education and cultural enlightenment.This paper mainly studies the protection of the traditional style of former residences, analyzes and summarizes through the landscape design. At present, there are many researches on landscape design,but there are few researches on the former residences of celebrities. Therefore,it has significant practical and research value.This research is highly operable not only in academic area but also in the practical application. The author conducted multiple field surveys in the early process of landscape design project in the former residence of Hu Yaobang cultural center. Through extensive readings, case analysis, project practice, combined with the excellent cases of landscape design of Mao Zedong’s former residence. In the project, through on-site observation, interview survey,etc. the feedback from the former residence of Hu Yaobang cultural center have been gotten.In the body of the paper,the author states the points in the following steps from propose a question, analyze and solve problems,to draw the conclusion and suggestions. Firstly, the first chapter is the introduction part, including the research background, research progress of celebrities landscape design at home and abroad, the significance of the research, and the main content and method of the research.Secondly, the second chapter to the fourth chapter launches the analysis and the researches in three aspects to make a rational exploration on the former residences of celebrities landscape design. ie, the theoretical basis of traditional environment protection of the former residences of celebrities and its landscape design, the cases of traditional conservation and landscape design both from domestic and abroad, landscape design of the former residence of Hu Yaobang, which is a cultural center in the traditional style protection. By discussing the relevant concepts of former residents of celebrates, landscape design, traditional conservation as well as the theory and thoughts related, together with analyzing outstanding cases at home and abroad,it presents points worth to be considered during the process of the landscape design. At last, combined with the actual project, it researches on each part of the former residence of Hu Yaobang cultural center landscape design, through integrating the studies of each design in each stage, summing up specific methods,solutions and part-to-whole design frameworks for a landscape design based on the former residences of celebrities, which is under the protection of the traditional style. This design focuses on the life experiences of plant culture and great man in plant configuration, and it can be applied to the symbolic meaning of plant. And puts forward relevant suggestions,hoping to provide a theoretical basis for the relevant construction for other people’s comments.
