Liuqiao pumping station is built on the silty soil foundation.But this type of soil particles have no or a little Cohesive force,so liquefaction and piping problems are very serious.Under the effect of upstream and downstream water level difference, the pumping station foundation will produce a larger seepage deformation. When it is getting worse,the subsidence and damages of the pump chamber will occur. The vertically upward uplift pressure generated by seepage reduces the effective weight of the pumping room, which is disadvantageous to the pumping room of anti-sliding.Therefore, the structure of the seepage and stability analyzes for Liuqiao pumping station has a very important significance. This paper will use the finite element software ABAQUS to iminate Liuqiao pumping station of seepage field and stress field.The main research contents are as follows:Finite element analysis was carried out on the pumping station of fine sand foundation seepage,The displacement, pore pressure, seepage of water heads and seepage slope in the different upstream heads have concluded. The result shows that seepage slope of the sandy soil foundation of the Liu Qiao pumping station is too large.Seepage stability does not meet the requirements, the seepage problem is a major hidden danger affecting the safe operation of the pumping station, therefore we must take measures to Liu Qiao pumping station.In order to ensure the normal operation of Liuqiao pumping station, people added a closed diaphragm wall at the bottom of the pump chamber, the wall was filled with cement soil. Then,I do the pumping chamber after ground treatment with seepage finite element analysis. The result shows that the impervious wall greatly changed the distribution of seepage field, and also greatly reduced the pumping chamber under the bottom of the seepage water heads. The seepage slope of horizontal section and exit section is far less than allowed seepage gradient threshold. Liu Qiao pumping station meets the requirements for osmotic stability.With finite element analysis of Liuqiao pumping stations added with impervious wall,The stress distribution regularity of pumping station under various conditions has concluded. The maximum principal tensile stress of Pumping station is less than concrete tensile strength, and the maximum principal compressive stress is also less than concrete compressive strength, So the upper pump station structure will not appear compressive stress damage. At the bottom of the edge and middle baidnzi of the pumping room,and at the floor contacted with the diaphragm wall,The stress values are very concentrated. In the middle of the pump chamber floor,the vertical stress values have little difference.In the pump chamber floor contacted with the ground, the stress values are far less than the bearing capacity of foundation allowance,It meets the requirements.The anti sliding stability coefficientsof three conditions are higher than the allowable value.So the pumping station meets the requirement of anti sliding stability.
