Study On Winter Elderly Activities Design Of City Park In Harbin

The population aging is getting faster and faster, the elderly population in the proportion of the population will be bigger and bigger. The affect of the life quality of the elderly population to the whole society has become more and more obvious. Along with the arrival of such an era, it is very necessary to study the places for elderly activities. Especially in such a city that the climate in winter is so characteristic like Harbin, many of the existing design methods are not very suitable for elderly activities in the parks of Harbin. Therefore this paper takes Harbin’s elderly as subjects to study and the places for elderly activities as the design object, study the problems of the places for elderly activities in parks of Harbin in winter, and proposed the corresponding countermeasure for design.This paper grasps activities that elderly peoples like to do in winter through the questionnaire survey and field survey of three parks:ShangZhi Park, JianGuo Park and Children’s Park, and classifies the activities, determines the types of activity places that the various activities required for, summarizes problems in existing activities. In the questionnaire survey, through four parts of the investigation of the elderly basic situation, the situation of coming to the park, satisfaction of gardening elements and related facilities and supplementary questions, understands and grasps the elderly status of use of activity places in Harbin city park in winter. In the field survey, through observing and recording, understand elderly activity characteristics, distribution of activities and time characteristics, and record the present situation of gardening elements and the present situation of related facilities of activity places of various activities. Combined with the two, comprehensive analysis and summary the existing problems of the elderly activity place in the parks of Harbin in winter.For the long and geographical features of winter in Harbin,firstly studying the problem of the design of the old man’s activity place is lack.Secondly,the design principle and strategy of the middle and winter old people activity place in Harbin city park were discussed, combining the results of the survey and related theories, the design principle is presented.And combined survey results and design principles, from different activity place types, the building elements and related facilities are put forward to design the Countermeasures.Finally, From winter climate features and utilization of ice and snow resources,giving some design strategy.In the background of elderly population increasing, the design of the places for elderly activities will be of great realistic significance. Aiming at the winter is long, the characteristics geography and climate, the lacking on design for the places for elderly activities in Harbin, to discuss the design principles and countermeasures of elderly activities in Harbin’s parks in winter, is the purpose of this paper. At the same time, hope to have reference value for the places for elderly activities in other cold city parks in our country to get benign development.
