Study On The Space Environment Of Urban Park Appropriate For The Activities Of The Elderly Taking Guilin City As An Example

At present,the trend of aging in China is becoming more and more serious.As a vulnerable group in society,the health problems of the elderly have become the focus of social attention.Advocating the elderly to establish a positive lifestyle and take the initiative to prevent disease has become an important measure to deal with the aging society.As an important public space for the elderly daily leisure activities,urban park green space has an important impact on their outdoor activities and health.At the same time,most of the existing urban park space environment does not meet the design requirements for the elderly.Therefore,starting from the actual needs of the elderly,combined with the behavior activities of the elderly as the starting point,it is not only of great significance to study the urban park green space construction suitable for the elderly activities,but also the inevitable choice for the elderly friendly urban environment construction.First of all,the purpose and significance of the study are clarified,and the theories involved in the relationship between the behavior of the elderly and the spatial environment of urban parks are elaborated by consulting relevant data.Combined with the physiological,psychological,behavioral characteristics and spatial environment needs of the elderly,the spatial environment suitability of urban parks is summarized from five aspects of space site,greening landscape,supporting facilities,management and maintenance,and cultural atmosphere Based on the evaluation index of aging,this paper constructs the evaluation system of aging suitability of urban park space environment by using analytic hierarchy process,and formulates qualitative and quantitative evaluation methods.Secondly,on the basis of the evaluation system,Guilin Botanical Garden and Seven Star Park are selected as the research objects through pre survey,and the research scheme is formulated.Through field survey,questionnaire survey,behavior observation and annotation,and GIS spatial analysis,the temporal and spatial distribution of elderly users’ behavior in urban parks and the spatial environment suitability of urban parks are explored The results were used as the qualitative evaluation results of suitability.Then,through interviews and questionnaire survey,the basic attributes of the elderly and satisfaction evaluation of space environment were collected,and the suitability quantitative evaluation results were obtained.Then the comprehensive evaluation results of urban park space site,green landscape,supporting facilities,management and maintenance,cultural atmosphere five aspects of comprehensive evaluation and analysis,finally summed up the status quo of urban park space environment,the main problems are the lack of activity space site functionality,low efficiency,lack of green landscape,single change,inadequate allocation of supporting facilities,management and maintenance There are five aspects: imperfect system,insufficient cultural characteristics and weak cultural atmosphere.Finally,the empirical research status of two urban parks in Guilin is analyzed.This paper puts forward the optimization design strategy of urban park suitable for the activities of the elderly in Guilin city from five aspects: optimizing the space and site mode,enriching the planting of green landscape,improving the setting of supporting facilities,strengthening the park management system and deepening the cultural environment atmosphere,so as to provide reference for the planning,design and management of urban park green space environment suitable for the activities of the elderly.
