Steel reinforced concrete(SRC) frame with special-shaped column structure is a new structural system. This fame structure has a good prospect of application, which not only makes better use of available space and improves the esthetic appearance of structure, but also has higher strength and better seismic performance than reinforced concrete(RC) frame with special-shaped column. At present, the research of SRC special-shaped column frame structure is more concentrated in the finite element simulation and mechanics test of component level, but the research on seismic performance of the whole frame is less. The experiment on SRC frame with special-shaped column structure mostly use quasi-static test methods, and it has not found that the method of hybrid simulation is used on this structure. In this dissertation, SRC frame with special-shaped column structure is studied through seismic finite element analysis and hybrid simulation, details are as follows:(1) This dissertation first elaborates the domestic and the foreign research situation on SRC frame with special-shaped column structure and RC frame with special-shaped column structure, and puts forward some problems which need to be studied further.(2) The pushover analysis and the hysteretic performance on one model of SRC frame with special-shaped column structure and one model of RC frame with special-shaped column structure which has the same size like the one before were carried out by using OpenSees. The seismic performance such as load bearing capacity, ductile, stiffness degradation and energy dissipation were analyzed. In addition, parametric analysis of mechanical behavior of SRC frame with special-shaped columns was performed. The concrete strength, steel strength and axial compression ratio were considered as analysis parameters.(3) The dynamic analysis of SRC frame with special-shaped column structure and RC frame with special-shaped column structure was carried out by using OpenSees. The dynamic response such as model, displacement and inter-story drift ratio were analyzed.(4) Through the seismic hybrid simulation of SRC frame with special-shaped column structure, the dynamic analysis were carried out under different earthquake intensities. The comparison of experimental results with finite element simulation results proves that the finite element model is accurate. And the results lay the good foundation for the following tests.
