As the last part of electricity production and supply, distribution network is a hub that connecting users and power system. Its main task is to ensure the safe and economic operation of the distribution network. Distribution network reconfiguration is an important means to optimize the distribution system operation, which is of great significance to improve the economic level of grid operation, the quality of power supply and to reduce the operating costs. This paper uses optimization algorithm on simulating the fisher fishing(SFOA) to solve the problem of distribution network reconfiguration for the first time, and introduces a relatively new theory—Iterative Learning Control(ILC),to control the iterative part effectively.SFOA, which is proposed by simulating the fishing beha vior of fishermen, is a relatively swarm intelligence optimization algorithm. The principle of the algorithm is simple and easy to be implemented. The optimization algorithm is mainly using search technology, such as moving search and shrinking search, and has better global searching performance and a more stable search convergence speed. In this paper, the minimization of active power loss is used as the objective function, a mathematical model of distribution network reconfiguration is established, and then adopted SFOA to obtain the optimal distribution network. Meanwhile, according to the characteristics of the distribution network, this paper simplifies the moving search and shrinking search without departing from the search algorithm itself to make it more suitable for distribution network reconfiguration.Iterative Learning Control is a research hotspot in recent years. It uses a very simple learning algorithm to achieve such a complex issue that the unknown co ntrolled object tracking the given desired trajectory with arbitrary precision in a given time interval. By comparing the error of each iteration result and expected result, close to expect the optimal solution. In recent years, Iterative Learning Control has been rapid development in the nonlinear systems. This paper applies the ILC to dis-tribution network reconfiguration by overcoming abnormal demanding applications of ILC, and uses Visual C++ for the IEEE-33 node examples reconfiguration, result shows that the proposed method is feasible.
