In recent years, a large number of super high-rise residential buildings have sprung up like mushrooms in many major cities in our country with the rapid development of economy and the technical breakthrough in engineering field.High-rise building requires higher seismic behavior of the structure system itself with regard to the influence of its safety and economy. However, depending on current computation method, it is difficult to confirm the integral seismic behavior and the local transfer of force exactly. Therefore, some difficulties and challenges are still remaining when discussing the issue of the earthquake response analysis. Based on the shaking table test and the finite element analysis on a super tall building in Shenyang Province, the seismic behavior of it is researched more deeply.Based on similarity theory, this paper designs a micro concrete scale model in a ratio of 1:40 of the super-tall building, keeping model similar to prototype in the mechanical characteristics. And finally complete the shaking table test on the structure with high conversion systematically. Six seismic waves are selected to do the shaking table test in thirty-seven operating modes. The acceleration, displacement responses and strain of the model are measured, the appearance and development of the crack are observed, and the failure modes of steel structure are studied. Through mode analysis, dynamic characteristics under different in tension earthquake are studied.According to dynamic characteristics and responses of the structure in each phase, the seismic behavior of the structure is analyzed. Based on the shaking table test, finite element analysis is applied to the model structure, and the period, acceleration,displacement that under different seismic action are calculated. Compared test results with finite element analysis results, the accuracy and reliability of each other areverified.Combining the shaking table test with finite element analysis of Sap2000, this paper evaluates seismic behavior of the super-tall building comprehensively and figure out the weak parts of structure. Several conclusions are drawn, which offer scientific basis to seismic design of the high-rise building, and give certain reference to similar super-high structures in seismic design.
