In the period with the rapid development of science and technology, material properties is gradually developing from the traditional single carrying capacity to the multi-functional and intelligent direction. Piezoelectric smart materials showed a good application prospect in various fields. In civil engineering, ecoelectric materials have played a great role in structural monitoring, ntrol, telligent adjustment and other aspects. In many of the structure, laminated components consist of piezoelectric smart materials is the most common structure, and the research on the mechanical properties especially the study on dynamic problem is also very important for designers. The dynamic problems of piezoelectric single beams and piezoelectric laminated beams are been chosen to study in the paper. Based on the fundamental equations of elasticity and constitutive equations of piezoelectric materials, the state equations of piezoelectric materials has been derived by using the state space method, in the condition of excluding physical strength, body and body charge current. Combined with the boundary conditions, the stress, strain and the free vibration frequency of state space solution has been divided. By going a step further, the solution for simple support piezoelectric laminated beam has been derived. This method is especially suitable for laminated beams, and is not limited by thickness. This method can be widely used in solving the laminated component. This solution is simple accurate and easy to use.At last, by using Matlab software the elastic laminated beam, piezoelectric beam and piezoelectric laminated beam in different span depth ratio have been solved. Every mechanical physical quantity and electrical physical quantity has been divided and compared with the results from finite element software ANSYS.
