As light steel structure is more and more widely used today, the study of light steel structure’s performance become more and more detailed, in order to simulate the engineering actually on the early stage and improve the safety and economy of the structure.Because at present our country about the diaphragm effect of the technical specification is also imperfect. So in traditional design, often only consider the structure stress, and ignores the structure surface maintenance material to the overall strengthening of the structure. As steel if can with the structure of retaining structural materials have good connection, can take advantage of the in-plane shear resistance together with the original stress components become overall external load. This because the epidermis structure covers the maintenance of the material used for security reserves structure overall stress performance enhancing effect phenomenon called the skin diaphragms.By learning about the skin diaphragms of the literature at home and abroad, this paper expatiates on the skin diaphragms and the finite element simulation analysis of skin cell, by establishing the finite element model of pedal function before and after, the static and modal analysis, compare structure before and after the overall consideration of skin diaphragms changes in mechanical properties. Analysis of skin panel can provide some of the stiffness of the structure, reduce the structural deformation, and the self vibration period of the structure is weakened, more complex formation. While the skin plate arrangement on the structure and properties of the influence, along the roof and vertical walls up, under the action of horizontal load of the middle frame diaphragm effect have a certain positive significance, but in the end gable has led to reduced performance; consider the gable diaphragm effect, has good effect on improving the trusses performance, and shorten the distance with the gable, the effect is more obvious. In addition, the parameters of skin cells have different effects on the diaphragm effect. In this paper, through the analysis, hoping to provide a reference for future engineering practice.
