Transmission system of the fan gear is an important component of the wind turbine, its main function is to transfer speed between the rotor and the working machine. Gear transmission system is high failure rate part in wind turbine. Researching the dynamic characteristics and response characteristics of gear transmission system of wind turbine has important theoretical significance in improving the operational reliability of wind turbine. In this paper, wind turbine gear transmission system is as the research object. By establishing the dynamic model of a certain fan gear, the fan gear transmission system in normal and fault, the coupled model and random wind speed conditions is simulated separately, then the dynamic characteristic of the fan gear drive system can be got, The paper concrete research content is as follows:1. The entity model of the fan gear transmission system can be established by using the 3d modeling software Pro/E. ADAMS software is applied to fan gear transmission system in dynamics simulation, respectively from two aspects of rotating speed and meshing force to verify the correctness, which can show the accuracy and feasibility of the model.2. The wind turbine gear transmission systems of broken teeth, pitting corrosion and crack fault model are established and simulated respectively. The characteristics of meshing force of the fault model are compared with theory analysis. The corresponding analysis conclusion can be obtained, which can illustrate the feasibility of the use of virtual prototype technology to the fan gear fault simulation.3. The fan gear of the coupled transmission system is got by making the shafts of Intermediate and high level of the fan gear flexible. The wind turbine gear transmission system is analyzed, which consider the flexible rotor in it.4. According to the Weibull distribution theory, random wind speed model is established. The coupled fan gear transmission system is simulated and got the corresponding dynamic response under random wind speed.
