Research And Practice On Power Plant Automation Information Linking To Host

The state power dispatching data network(SPDnet) is used for transmitting real time supervisor monitor information, energy billing information production management information and so on at power plant or substation. It is the foundation of technical support system of electric power system, and it must be satisfied with the diamond on high reliability and network security. Currently, the electric power dispatching data network has been become main communicating channel between control center host system an automation terminal unit of power plant or substation. The main contents of this paper are SPDnet construction of Bin-chang power plant. The would be used for linking The remote terminal unit, environmental monitoring terminal, energy billing terminal, relay protection setting management unit and OMS terminal at power plant would be linked to host systems at control centers by this SPDnet.The details of this paper include: First, based on studying relevant standards and literatures of state power dispatching data network, the Bin-chang power plant SPDnet was planned and implementation measures were put forward according to the diamond and general solution of Northwest Power Grid Company and combined with the actual situation of this plant. Second, the applicability of remote terminal unit, energy remote terminal unit etc. linking to SPDnet was studied, the targeted extension solution was proposed and implemented, and the tasks for these terminal units linking to system would be completed. Third, the solution of OMS terminal linking to system was put forward. Forth, a dual network interface card satisfied with the requirements linking to SPDnet would be designed. Fifth, the work for other automation information linking to system was cooperated with.The key point of the project is: First, the SPDnet plan and implementation pan were designed. Second, a dual network interface card satisfied with the requirements linking to SPDnet was implemented.After the SPDnet plan and implementation pan had been completed, System integration, configuration, test and so on about this project had been implemented, and all tasks on Bin-chang power plant automation information linking to system had been accomplished. At present, this system is running normally, and the acceptance test has been passed by Northwest Power Grid Company.
