Design And Implementation Of Remote Energy Data Terminal

The Energy Remote Terminal Unit is the necessary equipment of the energy data collecting system. It has been an important tache of the alteration in the power automation system with the energy data collecting system of automated, reliable, maintenance convenient.This thesis is based on the design for Energy Remote Terminal Unit. In this thesis, the idea of real-time embedded system is applied in traditional energy data collecting system. A design and implementation of Energy Remote Terminal Unit is proposed according to the requirement of the project, based on the Real-time Operation System VxWorks.During writing the thesis, the following work has been done:1. Explained the energy data collecting system in power system, and introduced the total layout and design of the system.2. Explained the peculiarity of real-time embedded operation system and the idea of designing the software.3. Analyzed the function requirement for Energy Remote Terminal Unit.4. Completed the hardware selection and software design of Energy Remote Terminal Unit, then finished the debugging of sample machine.
