It is painfully apparent that the architectural remains are becoming an endangered species facing different crisis whether they should be reserved or rebuilt. To protect the traditional architecture, the core issue should be solved urgently about the connotation construction and economic development in the flurries of new-type urbanization is how to approach the questions with a “history-reality-development” mind that keep the traditional villages, old blocks and historical buildings(blocks and buildings not under protection) well-preserved, rebuilt and developed. Beautiful Village Construction should be more comprehensive in order to be both practical and far-sighted. It is supposed to be livelihood-oriented and combined with the fundamental requirement of new urbanization construction. Dive deep into the evolution, source and questions on rural space, society, environment and landscape so as to contrive some specific protective strategies and discover a more scientific method to develop traditional villages.The paper researches into traditional villages from the viewpoint of “beautiful and useful”.
