Micro-grid can not only solve the problem of distributed generation integration to a certain extent, but also can increase the use of renewable energy, the proposed of micro-grid is a big milepost for the development of power system. The normal operation of the power system needs guaranteed supply reliability and good power quality, as a new extension of large power system, micro-grid must meet these two basic requirements. This paper studies the micro-grid network from these two aspects.Either the different micro-grid structures or different fault effects can make the power supply system reliability different. Now the reliability assessment of micro-grid is mainly concentrated in system reliability evaluation before and after the micro-grid accessing, and there is little evaluation of active distribution network operation mode affecting on micro grid power supply reliability. This paper introduces the operation mode of active distribution network, analyses and compares the micro grid operation differences between the active distribution network operation mode and the traditional distribution network operation mode, studies the working principle of different distributed power supply, uses the Monte Carlo simulation reliability assessment method intuitively evaluating the reliability under different circumstances. Finally the results show:it is more conducive to improve the reliability when the micro-grid operates in the active distribution network operation mode, which provides a choice for the network of micro grid.The reliability of power supply refers to the capacity of sustainable supply of the power supply system, and the quality of electric energy also has a certain impact on it. In order to ensure the good quality of power supply, this paper discusses the structure of UPQC which is suitable for micro grid mode. Through the simulation we can get a conclusion:the UPQC accessing can effectively govern the voltage drop and current harmonics power quality questions. Finally, on the basis of the foregoing, this paper discusses the micro-grid networking mode.
