With the development of computer application, the related internet technology has reached every corner of the world. Computer and internet technology is changing our life silently, and this change also happens onto our mode of thinking. In the recent decades, the extent of application of computer and internet technology has become an important measurement on companies’ core-competitiveness. In heavy lift carriage, computer simulation technology has already turned to be the “TOOL” which most companies are winning for now, and also in the future.Heavylifts are non-standard cargoes, which are overweight with huge cubage, and there shapes are abnormal for certain cases. Their carriage is difficult in practice. The plan of hoisting, stowage and lashing involved in the carriage of heavilifts by sea generally refers to huge calculation and imitation with high professionalization. Logistics companies usually take simplified calculation and analogy to solve this problem with mistakes, which influents the safety of carriage, and even huge lost in some cases.Under this background, with the modern computer technology, environmental and flow analysis, the writer designs and realizes the Safety Control Simulation Software in carriage of heavylifts by sea including lashing and hoisting. In addition, this research is to discuss the practicability of this software in real business. The findings can be referenced by related logistics companies to enhance their core-competitiveness.At the procedure of certain heavy lift equipment shipping, making a computerized model is needed for dunnage and lashing. At the same time to use Visual Basic.NET and Visual C# to develop application. In order to visualize the lifting process, Autodesk Inventor can offer 3D reference and programming function to build the model and program the controlling process to fulfill the target. Before the shipment, the designed application and visualized model can imitate the whole shipping process to help people explore unsaved factors and modify the variables to make sure absolutely safe shipping procedure to transport heavy lifts based on perfect dunnage and lashing measurement. After all, the safety control of transporting heavy lift can be satisfied and contingency plan can also be settled before the shipping process.This research paper is based on the writer’s practical work with experts’ help under “Heavylift carriage computer system”, and this system belongs to COSCO only particularly for the market research. Therefore, unless for scientific research, this article is not to be published, in order to protect company’s advantage.
