Study And Realization On The Mechanism Of Loading And Unloading Heavy Lift Cargo By Ship Crane

Limited by the loading capacity of the port cargo operation equipment,most of the loading and unloading operations of heavy lift cargo are completed by the ship cranes,which will cause the reduction of stability and an big increase of the heeling angle.Ship may capsize because of during loading or unloading process as a result of stability moment.In practice,the heeling angle can be maintained within reasonable range through the allocation of ballast water.However,unexpected risks may appear during the handling of coordination of ballast water and the ship crane,threatening damage to the ship and cargo and property losses for ship owners and cargo owners.It is imperative to calculate the stability and heeling angle of the ship in advance before loading and unloading heavy lift cargo by ship crane.In this paper,first of all,the procedure of loading and unloading operation are divided into four steps focusing on the practices in the process of loading and rotating.And the impacts of loading operations on the heeling of the ship and the methods of adjustment are analyzed then the formulas of the minimum holding capacity and the stress scope of the cargo hook in operation are deduced.Further,the real-time stability,righting moment,heeling angle and adjustment computational formulas are deduced d-uring the loading and unloading heavy lift cargo operations using the ship crane.The-n based on the programming language of C#and SQL Server 2008 database manage-ment system,the computer program of stability computation of heavy lift vessel duri-ng loading and unloading procedure are designed,the real-time computation function of stability,heeling angle and stability moment can be realized.In the end,simulation results are given to verify the practicability of this program.The results of the calculating and simulating of the loading and unloading heavy lift cargo have extensive applicability and practical significance.
