With the development of the domestic aviation industry, the development of onboard equipment is more paid attention to. The periodic of design and development for the onboard equipment need to be taken long time because of the safety and certification of the manufacture. Then, the supplier of the equipment will pre-research a stimulator to evaluate the technical point and used to carry out the system interface debug by the original equipment manufacturer at the beginning of the equipment design.This subject bases on the Cockpit printer of information system on the C919 jet project and the Cockpit Printer is an important equipment of information system. It connects with the other external systems by Ethernet bus and ARINC 429 bus. The printer will provide the printing function for the onboard system such as data link system, onboard maintenance system and flight management system etc. the member system equipment of Information system such as electronic flight bag, the application hosting in the file service modular will also use the printer. Considering of the requirement and money factors, this is no domestic manufacture to development the cockpit printer and they just provide the terminal paper for airlines only. The maintenance and support market with high value has been got by the foreign company.In this thesis, Firstly, it introduces the background knowledge of printer and protocols and defines the development model referring to the airborne software development specification DO-178. And it also describes the whole processes of this thesis adopts, including requirement analysis, design, coding and testing. Secondly, UML user cases are used to present the software requirements and the sequence cases are introduced to interpret the software architecture section. Thirdly, at the coding phrase, the main codes are explained for the implementation. Finally, the Parasoft C++ Test tool is used to carry out the unit testing and the function testing should be done manually. Then a printer stimulator can not only meet the technical requirements but also save the money for company and it shows much engineering merit.
