As one of major energy projects of Guangdong province, the first-stage project of Guangdong Natural Gas Grid is an important part of the only pipeline network laying the province and government’s planning efficient use of natural gas resources as a whole. As one major controlling engineering of the entire first-stage project of Guangdong Natural Gas Grid, Xijiang Shield Traversing makes perfect sense. Because of the complicated geological conditions in Guangdong area, who was called treasury of geological diversity. Under such complex geologic conditions of shield construction, the risk is self-evident. Combining the successful experience of Xijiang shield tunnel engineering, the main subject of this article is to summarize the experience in the process, from the perspective of risk management, to do quantitatively and qualitatively analysis and assessment of the main risks in the project, mainly including the follows:On the base of consulting relevant data, sums up the main features of the Xijiang River tunnel project, and puts forward the difficulties in the project construction, which emphasizes the importance of risk management in shield tunnel construction.By means of data analysis and expert investigation method of the risk identification of the project, points out the risk factors and mechanism of risk of complex geological structure, Xijiang through sandstone, silty clay and sand together form when the risk of pregnancy, test environment, and on this basis, there may be a series of risks in construction of shield tunnel in the process of.After the risk identification methods to determine the main construction risk, analysis method into R=P×C model and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation combined, determine the main construction risk grade of Xijiang River shield.Starting from the mechanism of risk, combining the experience of pipeline network project in Xijiang River shield tunnel construction, the detailed measures introduced from the risk of pregnancy risk environment and risk factors.
