With the rapid development of international economy, the foreign trade volume is increasing year by year. The increase in traffic and the requirements for costs of transportation make the large-scale ship has become a trend. Existing port has become increasingly difficult to meet the requirements of large ship draught, and the natural harbor with superior natural conditions has already developed. The construction of deep water port has to be carried out at the sea with high wave and strong wind. It is a high challenge to the traditional type of wharf structure. Gravity type complex structure is a new type of wharf structure, which combines the advantages of gravity structure and pile foundation structure. At present, the related research on this structure is still in the initial stage, there is no domestic engineering adopted. It is need to make a lot of basic research in order to provide the basis for design and construction of gravity type complex structure.Because of the lightweight of the structure, ship collision is the control load. This paper is to study the dynamic characteristics of pile-gravity type complex structure by using the numerical simulation method. It focuses on the analysis of dynamic response of the structure under ship impact load to clear the stiffness distribution and the stress mechanism of the structure.This paper established 3D numerical model of pile-gravity type complex structure considering the fluid-solid coupling through the finite element analysis software ANSYS-Workbench combining with the parametric language APDL. It analyzes the natural vibration frequency and vibration modes of the structure, discusses the influence of fluid-solid coupling on dynamic characteristics of the structure.It analyzes the interaction among the ship and rubber and structure when the ship berthing by using explicit dynamics analysis software LS-DYNA. Then, it obtains the diachronic change of displacement, velocity, stress and energy of each part in the collision system.It obtains the dynamic response of the structure and changes of ship impact load by simulating the ship berthing with different berthing angle, velocity and weight, discusses the influence factors of ship berthing on the dynamic response of the structure.Based on the displacement method, the stiffness equation of gravity type complex structure is established. The solution of the displacement of the pier structure by displacement method provides guarantee for the static calculation model. It finds the calculation mode conforms to the actual engineering by comparing the displacement and stress result of static calculation model and dynamic calculation model.
