With the advancement of people’s lives as well as the accelerated pace of technology, intelligent life has gradually replace the old way of life. The development of electric power technology has entered the era of the smart grid. For early power systems, the smart grid transmits the power by a fully automated and based on the high-speed bidirectional communication network. It can access a variety of different forms of electricity generation, transform the public energy networks, improve the utilization rate of the entire energy in an environmentally friendly way, realize the sustainable development of electric power. In order to implement the energy control more flexibly and other various related services at the same time, operational management of the smart grid requires the power transmission network state, each client and grid nodes to implement real-time monitoring. Such changes would bring new risks to users’ security of the entire smart grid system.In the process of user power consumption measurement, smart meters replace mechanical meters. It transmits users’ electric data to the service provider periodically in high frequently. According to the real-time electrical data, the service provider can analyze the electricity load and perform some other works. But the whole process of electricity data transmission is extremely unreliable. Malicious attacker can infer the user’s daily patterns of life and other private information from a large number of transmission electricity data.For users’ privacy issues raised above, a payment scheme based on ring signature and certificateless signature is put forward in this thesis to protect the privacy of users while completing electricity data collection and payment correctly. Anonymous payment algorithm is used in the scheme to make a trusted third party only produce the part of the user’s private key and it achieves unconditional anonymity, and reduces computational cost at the whole process and thus has a good practical value. The main work of this thesis mainly includes the following several aspects:1. Analyze the whole development at home and abroad. Summarize the existing security problems in the smart grid and the corresponding solutions given by researchers.2. Propose a payment scheme based on ring signature and it can protect users’ privacy. Through the research on the way of user privacy disclosure in the smart grid, unconditional anonymity and unforgeability of ring signature can effectively protect the user’s specific consumption data in smart meters in the process of information transmission and protect users’privacy well.3. Propose a payment scheme based on certificateless signature and it can protect users’ privacy. In the user payment process, weaken the trusted third party rights can prevent the users’ privacy effectively. Through the certificateless cryptography to make the trusted third party can’t generate the user’s private key directly, send partial private key only. According to the partial private key, the user can calculate the final key.4. Analyze the safety of the proposed scheme. Through the analysis and comparison of the scheme, it has the anonymity, unforgeability, non-relevance and cost less computational overhead in the whole process, so it has a good practical value.
