With the decrease of global energy, there are more and more problems in traditional chemical cell. At present, a lot of new type of portable electronic devices develop rapidly, and its power supply problems are to be solved. In order to find a permanent power to replace the traditional battery, various ways are tried to collect harvest energy from environment, including solar, wind, electromagnetic, vibrational energy and so on. Among them, there are more and more research about person’s kinetic energy collection.Firstly, a knee-joint generator is designed and made in this thesis. It can be wore on the outside of the knee,and fixed with a bandage. There is a small three-phase generator connected with the overdrive gears in it. When people walks, the joint swings, and gears rotate, which drive the generator to generate electricity, then the body energy is turned into electricity.Secondly, the thesis does real-time monitoring and control to the joint generator by low power consumption MCU and fine-tuning potentiometer, and analyzes various wear situation adaptively,finally the most effective control mode is obtained. Because of that the capacity of generator and power generation efficiency are determined by the angular velocity of the joint rotation, and different wearers have different swing amplitude and different angular velocity under different motion state. In this thesis, the wearer’s information is collected by the program, and it is sends control instruction to the single chip after analysis.Finally, this thesis presents an energy storage device. The users can store electrical energy continuously by simple walk, and it is used for power supply for mobile phones, MP3 players and other mobile electronic products or some wearable devices. The energy storage device can also be applied to provide power supply in case that people are badly in need of power supply in the open air or troops marching and so on. At the same time, when the electricity of MCU power supply is shortage, the energy storage device can charge it without changing power supply, then the self-powered function is realized basically.
