Heat exchangers are widely used in industry, but fouling caused the low heat transfer efficiency. Assembled rotors which develop from field synergy principle and calculus method could achieve antifouling and enhance heat transfer. Based on the above study, the anti particulate fouling characteristics of assembled rotors has been studied by numerical simulation method. Experiment was carried out to study the anti fouling characteristics of three different rotors. Experiments were carried out to study the heat transfer and friction factor of the tube inserted with assembled rotors. Stability of the assembled rotors at power plant condenser was analyzed.(1) Numerical studies on the anti-fouling performance of assembled rotors.Precipitation fouling was studied by numerical.However the particulate fouling was not studied. Thus, effect of fluid velocity and inlet temperature and lead of rotor as well as particle size on anti scaling performance of assembled rotors has been studied. The results show that the increase of flow rate, will reduce the amount of fouling deposit. Particulate fouling is less influenced by the entrance of the medium temperature.Deposition of particulate fouling increasing with dirt particle size increase; rotor lead with 200mm has the best anti fouling performance.(2) Experimental studies on the anti-fouling performance of assembled rotors.Based on the qualitative analysis of assembled rotors anti-fouling performance it is important to do quantitative analysis of assembled rotors anti-fouling performance.This paper adopts the method of experiment to study the anti fouling characteristics of three different rotors. The experiment use the insert method to study fouling weight. The experimental results show that the spiral two blade slot rotor not only prolong the induction period, but also reduce the asymptotic value of fouling, and its anti fouling performance is the best in the three kinds of rotors.(3) Experiments were carried out to study the heat transfer and friction factor of the tube inserted with assembled rotors.Experiments were carried out to study the heat transfer and friction factor of the tube inserted with different location rotors and gap left-right helical blade rotors and different hole rotors as well as groove helical blade rotors. The results of the study show that, with the fluid turbulence degree of tail tube reducing, tail rotors of assembled rotors has larger influence on heat exchange performance. For the left-right rotors, when the space is three rotors length, the heat transfer enhancement effect is best. The diameter of the hole has different impact on the performance of the rotors. Big hole has a good effect, but small hole opposite, deep groove had a good effect.(4) Industrial test for the running stabilityStability of the assembled rotors at middle part and the upper part of the 600MW power plant condenser has been analyzed. By comparison, the rotor in the middle of condenser has larger impact force of water than the upper, so we should chose different structure in industrial application.Above all, anti-fouling performance of assembled rotors has been studied. Industrial test for the running stability was carried out. It Provide technical support for the composite rotor industrial application.
