Automotive has been born for a long time, along with the rapid economic development of the current year increasing year by year, that dependence on oil and other fossil resources and a series of environmental pollution problems has been caused is more and more seriously. In the face of the pressure of environment and natural resources, the new rise of new energy vehicles is becoming the development direction of the automotive industry, for its economic benefits and environmental protection. There are many types of new energy vehicles, this article selects the low-speed electric vehicle as the research object. Based on querying a lot of books and references about the pure electric vehicles, the main framework of the article is identified. Firstly the article describes the working principle of braking energy recovery, and a description is written on the influence factors of the system behind. Then by analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of three control strategies of the electric vehicle, on the basis of compliance with ECE braking regulations, a brake force distribution to the front and rear axle car-based control strategy is proposed. Lastly choose a domestic low-speed electric vehicle for the study, analyzing its characteristics throughout the braking process, determining the best front and rear axle braking force distribution ratio of the entire process, and modifying the default control model of ADVISOR2002 to do model simulation. The simulation result data show that the control strategy proposed in this article, not only can better meet the requirements of braking stability, but also effectively improve the efficiency of the braking energy recovery.
