Studying on compaction characteristics of warm asphalt mixture, not only need to focus on using the method of the macroscopic experiment, also need to go deep into morphology, distribution, structure of the internal mixture material. In order to further understand the compaction characteristics of warm asphalt mixture, this paper will combine with the macroscopic experiment and the microscopic level to common analysis the compaction characteristics of warm asphalt mixture.Selection of shaping–temperature, asphalt-aggregate ratio, molding methods, compaction times four influence factors,and always be compared with hot asphalt mixture. Using Marshall and SGC two kinds of molding methods do the corresponding macroscopic experiment. In these experiments one part of asphalt mixture specimens are used to measure volume index and performance index of routine experiments; Another part of in parallel with the asphalt mixture specimens are used to microscopic analysis. And use the cutting way to obtain asphalt mixture image interior. Using digital image processing technology to do image processing and calculate microscopic parameters.In terms of macroscopic analysis,make the bulk density, void ratio as the main analysis index drawn from the macroscopic experiments,in order to analysis the influence law of shaping–temperature, asphalt-aggregate ratio, molding methods, compaction times on the compaction characteristics of warm asphalt mixture. Explore the difference of warm asphalt mixture and hot asphalt mixture compaction characteristics in two kinds of forming mode. In terms of microscopic analysis, using the void area ratio, void fraction dimension, total particle area ratio, particle area ratio four microscopic parameters to analysis distribution structure of warm asphalt mixture specimen internal voids and aggregates. Finally, establish the contact of macroscopic index and microscopic parameters. Do supplement, extension and forecast for the macroscopic evaluation of compaction characteristics of warm asphalt mixture. |
