With the continuous improvement of our country’s economy level and the acceleration of economic integration of the coastal cities, the cross-sea bridge is getting more and more attention of the people. At present, the main pain point of the bridge piers maintenance work lies in the bad influence of sea wind, fog, thunderstorms, cold wave, tide and current, which makes serious corrosion of bridge pier. However, the maintenance of bridge piers relies mainly on the artificial. Not only the dust produced in the process of maintenance may cause harm to the maintenance personnel, but also the process of implementation of maintenance exist safe hidden trouble. Methods and equipment which can replace artificial are still sparse.This thesis mainly discusses the automation in the process of anticorrosion coating repair. This paper is also focuses on the entirety design of the anticorrosive coating maintenance equipment and the feasibility analysis of the equipment’s major structural frame. In this thesis we make some preliminary design conception which can show us how the equipment be fixed on piers and how the equipment get work. The maintenance equipment is mainly composed by inchworm type cylinder crawling device and maintenance device. The crawling device can realize the equipment’s vertical lifting movement through coordinate the action of the clamping mechanism and the lead screw transmission mechanism. The maintenance device can get lateral movement along the ring rail that the ring rail is installed on the lower clamping bracket. The transmission screw and clamping connecting rod as the critical component play an important role in connecting the upper and lower clamping mechanism and implement equipment clamping. The transmission screw and clamping connecting rod’s stress and deformation conditions directly affect the regular work of the maintenance equipment, thus calculated to check its strength, stiffness and stability. Then use the ANSYS finite element software for the analysis of static structural and modal analysis to verify the feasibility of the structure frame.
