| Today, due to the severe phenomenon of overloading and heavy load, many kinds of early diseases of asphalt pavement appears in China, of which the most common was rutting. Especially in high temperature region of south China, the asphalt pavement rutting problem was more serious. Hard paving grade asphalt(HPGA) provided a new method to solve the problem of rutting. According to EN standards, HPGA was designated by the penetration range at 25℃, e.g. 10/20 pen or 15/25 pen. At present China the study of real HPGA meeting EN standards was scarce. This thesis pointed at HPGA meeting EN standards, in order to make up for the inadequacy of this area research in China.This thesis maked a research on LH15#ã€20# and25# asphalt, with LH 70# asphalt as control. Using DSC experiment to study of Thermal stability of HPGA.Through DSR test of HPGA viscoelasticity was studied. Suitable climate zone in China of HPGA was proposed. The Brookfield viscosity test and DSR test are performed to study hard asphalt mortar performance. The experiment of dynamic modulus, static modulus and rutting test were used to study of the characteristics of high modulus asphalt concrete(HMAC). Grey correlation analysis method is absorbed to put forward HMAC quality control index.The result shows that, the G*/sinδ of HPGA was obviously higher than that of 70#asphalt.The suitable climate zone of 15# and 20# asphalt was 1-3ã€1-4ã€2-3ã€2-4. Based on the high temperature performance of HPGA binder, the optimum filler-asphalt ratio 1.4 was determined. Dynamic stability and modulus of HMAC was apparently higher than 70# asphalt mixture. G*/sinδ of original asphalt and dynamic viscosity at 60℃ can be used as quality control indicators of HPGA.Through this research, learned better knowledge of hard paving grade asphalt and high modulus asphalt mixture, and provided valuable details for practical application of the hard paving grade asphalt. |
