To meet the seismic requirement of more paths seismic fortify and realize the gradient amplitude modulation of steel frame structure lateral stiffness, steel frame-truss new structure system was submitted in terms of tension field theoretical in this paper. Seismic behavior and interactive lateral resistance performance was analyzed through SAP2000, the analysis in this paper laid a foundation on theoretic study and engineering application of the new structure system. The study emphases, method and conclusions of the investigation were listed as following.1. Steel frame-truss structure model was built and model analysis, response spectrum analysis and liner time history analysis about the models were carried out in this paper. The steel frame-truss structure was compared with steel frame structure and steel frame-steel plate deep structure on period, model, story drift and interstory drift. The result showed that steel frame-truss got a great lateral stiffness.2. The pushover analysis about steel frame-truss was conducted and the result was compared with steel frame structure elastic-plastic behavior in story drift and plastic hinge in the paper. The result showed that the truss in steel frame-truss structure was the first line of seismic resistance in the earthquake and the truss could improve the seismic behavior of structure. Steel frame-cross truss structure got a better seismic behavior than steel frame-single diagonal truss. Finally, the pushover restoring force modal of steel frame-cross truss was submitted and the structure expressed elastic stage, elastic-plastic stage, plastic stage in the earthquake which was defined as failure mechanism of steel frame-cross truss structure.3. In the progress of damage, the control behavior of structure was submitted in term of steel frame-cross truss structure failure mechanism. The cooperative between frame and cross truss in resisting lateral force was analyzed through truss lateral resistance, frame lateral resistance and the relative of them. Reinforcing and impairing the truss of steel frame-cross truss structure to develop new analysis modal. The new modal was compared with primary structure modal in lateral performance and the result indicated that ratio of lateral force between truss and frame could be adjusted by changing stiffness ratio of truss and frame.
