Curve beam bridge is an important branch of girder bridges, it can well satisfy the route alignment, and is common in urban mass transit on bridges and other three-dimensional transportation. Small curvature radius curve beam bridge is applied more widely, but the earthquake response of the curved beam is comparatively complex, and there are a series of problems in its design, such as the role of piles and soil, the determination of the most adverse excitation orientation, the design of shock absorber and so on. Based on the three spans 30 m + 30 m + 30 mof prestressed concrete continuous curved girderfor practical engineering background, a deep analysis was discussed through building the model with finite element program Midas/civil, the main contents are as follows:(1) The investigation and analysis of the characteristics of damages curve beam bridges had undergone in earthquakes in recent years. The investigation of research status of curved girder bridges at home and abroad.contrastive analysis of curved beam bridge’s seismic design provisions in different countries.(2) For the first part of the survey, modeling analysis of the curve beam bridge was conducted through the software Midas/civil to understand the dynamic characteristics of curve beam bridge. A comparative study was conducted on whether the pile-soil interaction was considered in the model.(3) according to the 08 seismic conditions, time history analysis method was adopted to the study on reducing vibration isolation of curve beam bridge. The influence of curvature radius on the seismic response rules was studied. The most unfavorable earthquake ground motion input direction of curve beam bridge was determined.(4) The vibration isolation design of curve beam bridge was done according to the determined most unfavorable seismic ground motion direction. The bridge’s vibration reducing performance was analyzed through the analysis of lead rubber bearing damping performance. Vibration isolator parameters of lead rubber were analyzed. The influence the bearing’s stiffness and yield force had on shock absorption was studied.(5) the commonly used bridge longitudinal shock absorbers were introduced. Nowthe influence of the horizontal seismic block in the earthquake was analyzed in this paper, and the seismic response when seismic block and lead rubber bearing were considered together during earthquake was analyzed.
