This paper combines the static load test of the line Huangling to Yan,an highway in loess area of Huangling. Through this test of using the loading method of anchor-pile beam counterforce device, studying the load transmission character, the exert properties of side friction and side friction, and the load-settlement relationship under vertical load of pile foundation in loess area.Based on the theory of load transfer method, a tri linear model is used to model the side friction, a tri linear model is also employed to the simulation of the pile end resistance between the pile an soil. By using the tri linear model, and take the properly of the soil which enhances under the depth into consideration, the relation between the load and settlement is deduced through the theory of load transfer method. During the process of derivative, the side friction and pile end resistance of soil located the side of the pile and the pile end all exist three situations: linear elastic stage, plastic stage and slip stage, and the three stages are carried out respectively.By using the finite element analysis software of MIDAS/GTS, the single pile is simulated to study the load transfer law and the load-Settlement relationship under vertical load of pile foundation.At last, by using the derivation result of applying the tri linear model of the pile end resistance and the side friction, compare the examples from the literatures and the actual static load test of pile. Calculated P-S curves and the measured P-S curves shows that, when the load level on the top of the pile is low, the anastomoses effect is reliable; with the growing load, the gap reflects more obvious. Through the example of the reference, the result shows that the tri linear model of pile end resistance is better than the double line model. From the actual static load test of pile, the derivation result can calculate the load-settlement relationship relative effectively and the method has good engineering applicability.
