After the construction of the first domestic composite pavement since the 1990 s,Because of the advantage in bearing capacity of composite pavement,more and more sections begun using composite pavement structure.Asphalt layer in Composite pavement structure is better thansingle pavement structure in moderating impact power,and greatly reduces the destruction of the cement concrete slab, Driving comfort when driving on composite pavement structure, and shorter construction period、more convenient for maintenance,etc. But,under the effect of external factors such as vehicle load and temperature stress,it will generate the relative displacement between the concrete slabs in the composite pavement structure, If the tensile stress due to the displaceent between the concrete slabs is greater than the tensile strength of the asphalt surface, surface will produce crack failurefrom bottom to top,namely the reflective crack.Under the environment and vehicle load will intensify crack damage speed,cracks will quickly extend in all directions at the same time,and water easily penetrates into the grass-roots through the cracks,and causes road diseases such as subsidence、thawsubsand mud,shortening the life of composite pavement.Firstly,doing a great deal of field research and collectingrelevant datain this paper for Xu Wei highway,andunderstanding preliminary the composite long-life pavement and reflection crack up diseases.On the basis of a large number of statistical data and the field image information,fromthe crack spatial distribution characteristics, the authorproposed a new method that can evaluate sections feature attribute and "split up index" indexbased on the principle of sensitivity analysis,and evaluated the main damage factors of reflective crack disease,then analysised and got the specific mechanism of reflective crack. Secondly, according to the specific damage mechanism of crack disease, the author put forward a new repairing material, and compared it to the existing two kinds of repairing materials through experiments on properties including viscoelastic and crack resistance, and drew a conclusion that the new material can repair the crack disease.Finally, the new material were verified in the construction of Xu Wei highway, combined with the new designed process, and satisfactory results were obtained. Based on the results of the project,we can solve the problem of short life of treatment on dealing with the disease of composite long-life reflection crack, which has important significance to improving the performance of composite long-life pavement and prolonging the service life of road.
