With the rapid development of wind power, The capacity of wind turbines is expanding gradually. In this condition, towers need greater strength、stiffness and height, greatly increasing the steel consumption of the traditional steel towers, which increases the costs of production and installation. Therefore, for multi-megawatt grade wind generator sets, prestressed concrete wind turbine towers have been widely paid more attention and research. On the basis of research findings by predecessors, the model test 5MW octagonal prestresses concrete wind turbine tower has been carried on and studied. And the force bearing capacity and the dynamic characteristics of structure have been tested. Moreover, the static and dynamic analysis finite element of the tower has been built, and compared with the test data the reliability of the model has been validated. What’s more, with the validation model, the reactions of the tower have been analyzed under different conditions, showing that the tower could satisfy the needs of the relevant specification. Finally, combined with the comprehensive performance of the traditional steel tower and circular concrete wind turbine tower, the octagonal concrete wind turbine towers have a couple of advantages than the traditional steel towers and circular concrete wind turbine towers. In this thesis, based on the interaction of soil-structure, the analysis of earthquake force on the wind turbine tower was carried out. The main research were that the the horizontal seismic force and overturning moment contrastive analysis of mode superposition method and time history method, the the horizontal seismic force and overturning moment contrastive analysis of prestressed concrete tower and steel tower, the horizontal-vertical seismic force and overturning moment contrastive analysis of prestressed concrete wind turbine tower under the action of horizontal earthquake and horizontal-vertical earthquake at the same time. In addition, the effect of the interaction between soil and structure on the seismic force of prestressed concrete wind turbine tower was analyzed. The research showed that the base overturning moment obtained from the mode superposition method was greater than the time history analysis method. In addition, the analysis of anti-seismic couldn’t be ignored, when the design of concrete tower were carried on. Moreover, the vertical seismic action had a great influence on the vertical bearing capacity of the tower. Finally, the interaction between soil and structure had a great influence on the analysis of earthquake force. Therefore, the siffness and damping coefficient of foundation soil should be considered, when the design of anti-seismic was carried on.
