With the digestive tract disease become the main cause of human health, the digestive tract disease detection technology is also developing rapidly. Wireless Capsule endoscope is new technology which overcomes the disadvantage of traditional detection method. So the research of wireless capsule endoscope is a tendency. Since the Given Image company launch the word’s first wireless capsule endoscope in 2000, the wireless capsule endoscope have a great deal development in position control, capsule localization, energy supply, image acquisition and so on. However, there still have a lot of works need to do.The thesis conduct research on the aspect of image acquisition and energy supply of wireless capsule endoscopy with the support of national natural science foundation of china(NO.31271069), and come up with an image acquisition system based on FPGA. The system inside integrate a FPGA JPEG Compressor, so it’s can achieve a high transmission frame rate(8~10fps). And the system tries to adopt wireless power method to increase the work time of wireless capsule endoscope.The thesis will present the wireless capsule endoscope system in following aspects:In the first part, the thesis analyze the core technology scheme the wireless capsule endoscope system involved, like image capture scheme, wireless transmission scheme, power supply scheme, and try to put forward a optimal scheme.In the second part, the thesis will present the hardware design and software design of the wireless capsule endoscope system. The hardware is composed of three parts: Image capsule, portable image receiver and Wireless power design. And according to its function, the hardware can be divided into CMOS image capture module, NRF wireless transmission module, SD storage module, FT245 USB transmission module and so on. The software is presented form three parts: the control system of image capsule, the software system of portable image receiver, the MFC application.In the third part, the thesis will present the core algorithm the system involved: JPEG compressor based FPGA. The part will introduce the algorithm theory of JPEG and the realization of JPEG in FPGA. The algorithm involved the details like 2-D DCT, Frequency quantizer, Run length encoder, Variable length encoder, huffman encoder.Finally, the thesis present three experiments: wireless power experiment, Image compress experiment, image acquisition experiment. The experiment result shows that the wireless power module can provide maximum 1000 mw power for the endoscope, the JPEG compressor can achieve 95% compression ratio and the system can acquire 8~10 frame picture per second.
