A lot of earthquake disaster shows that the structure will be serious damage or even collapse under the seismic action, causing great economic losses and casualties.Therefore, the research of the aseismic capacity and failure mechanism of engineering structures has a great significance. Brick structure, steel structure and reinforced concrete frame structure which relative to other building structures is more easily damaged or collapsed in the earthquake.However, compared with these traditional structure, the steel and concrete composite frame structure which is combined by two different kinds materials reasonably has many advantages such as strong bearing capacity, good ductility, good seismic performance, light weight, and so on.Domestic and foreign scholars on the steel and concrete composite beams find that the seismic performance of concrete-filled steel tube column framework have good seismic performance. However,the study on seismic performance of steel concrete composite beams-steel pipe concrete column combination framework system is less reported. Researchers become concerned of these issues that how is the seismic performance, how to give full play to the advantages of each component when we design the combination framework.This article made a study on the shaking table test of similar proportion,according to the similar proportion design principles a 1/3 scale ratio of 4 layers of steel and concrete composite frame structure was designed, and made a simulation shaking table test with the artificial counterweight. Simulated seismic waves were selected and impacted on the model structure. Strain gauge, accelerometer,displacement meter were used to obtain the corresponding dynamic characteristics under earthquake action in different conditions effectiving. The study of the seismic performance of the structure and the accurating evaluation of the overall seismic performance provided an important experimental basis for related theoretical research. The test results of composite frame structure aseismatic design method and construction measures of seismic design provide guidance for the project in the structure,and promote the Applications of composite structure in earthquake area.
