Strength is the main mechanical property of asphalt mixture and the main material parameters of asphalt pavement structure behavior and performance prediction analysis. The asphalt mixture is a kind of temperature sensitive material, which strength is closely related to the properties of raw materials and its components and the temperature has a significant effect on it. Existing asphalt pavement structure design, surface layer of asphalt mixture strength parameters selected on behalf of the constant temperature test or recommended value without considering the relation between strength of asphalt mixture parameters and temperature under ambient temperature dynamically changes, causing analysis of asphalt pavement structure conditions and actual conditions inconsistent. This paper in view of the current strength of asphalt mixture parameters fluctuation range, which has not yet been established and the relation of temperature to carry out strength of asphalt mixture on the values of parameters, analyzing to provide the material parameters for asphalt pavement structure design evaluation and dynamic performance prediction and has important theoretical and engineering significance.Based on the analysis of factors on strength of asphalt mixture and its influence on the collection of compressive strength, flexural tensile strength of asphalt mixture and the splitting strength test data, from the type of gradation, binder type, test temperature analysis of the strength of the overall distribution, and with the block diagram method data processing, through the normal distribution test data to determine the effective strength, guarantee 90% confidence limit rate as the representative value of strength of asphalt mixture, analyzed the influence of temperature, the nominal maximum particle size, asphalt content, binder type on asphalt mixture compressive strength, flexural strength and splitting strength, and the significance of the analysis, by using statistical methods, studied the relationship between the strength of asphalt mixture parameters and temperature and value method. Studies have shown that temperature, nominal maximum particle diameter, asphalt content, asphalt binding material type asphalt mixture on the compressive strength and bending tensile strength and the splitting strength has an obvious effect, 90% guarantee rate of confidence limit intensity, on behalf of the value can characterize the different factors influence on asphalt mixture strength; establish the strength parameters of asphalt mixture prediction model, under the condition of variable temperature asphalt mixture strength parameters determination method is proposed. Examples show that, the asphalt mixture strength parameters and temperature can be input asphalt pavement structure design evaluation and performance prediction model for use.
