The research object of this paper is brushless dc motor, for the general motor control experimental requirements and conditions in the laboratory, DSP chip is used as the machine controller, the communication with the computer is done through a serial port, then LabVIEW software is used to set up the brushless dc motor control system based on LabVIEW and DSP.In the thesis,the brushless dc motor and the development of measurement and control system based on virtual instrument technology and research current situation are described in detail first. Then It gives the system structure, working principle and speed control principle,on this basis, the requirements and the function of the measurement and control system is cleared, The overall design of the monitoring and control system is finished, It also gives the specific solutions, and the serial communication system adopted by the Modbus communication protocol is introduced, including the Modbus transmission mode, error detection methods and the transaction processing.Then, a detailed description of the brushless dc motor control system hardware, which mainly includes the control circuit which use DSP TMS320F2812 as the core and the motor drive circuit. On the basis of the hardware, use the development platform CCS4.0 which is matched with DSP to design the software hierarchical and modularly, the software contains the system main program, the interrupt subroutine, the PID control module and the Modbus communication module, and the program flow chart of each module is given. Using the LabVIEW software in the PC to design system, mainly completed the module of serial communication, motor control and data acquisition module, data storage module and data analysis module.Finally, on the basis of the system hardware and software design, each function module of the measurement and control system is debuged, and the performance of the system is detected through the experiment. Completed the debug serial communication and motor speed control experiment and the experimental data includs motor speed, motor voltage and current waveform data is collected, then the analyziton and storage of the data is finished, and the reliability of the measurement and control system is verified. Through analysis and reflection,the paper is ended with summary and further view on the study.
