Nowadays, Eco-agricultural tourism has been the tendency of the sightseeing agriculture. It’ supposed that the hilly region has the unique conditions and advantages in terms of the ecological agriculture sightseeing. Its rolling terrain with large fluctuations,rich natural products, complex ecosystems and higher ecological resources such as land bearing capacity and environmental capacity make the region particularly suitable for the development of ecological agriculture. As we all know, the development of the ecological agriculture sightseeing industry in hilly region is rapid in recent years. This phenomenon has greatly enriched the tourism resources of hilly region. While behind the rapid development,there are a series of planning and construction problems. The main reason is that the subjectivity of the traditional planning method is stronger and the experience of the preliminary analysis and research in the aspect of the environment is insufficient. Especially for the hilly region where has relief changes,just according to the plane drawing can not fully and accurately understand the real situations. Phenomenons such as showing no respect to the site and destroying the original ecological system have increased the pressure of environmental.Consequently, for the hilly type of ecological agricultural tourism park where has complex topographical changes,its planning and design is in urgent need of scientific and technical support and guidance. It is essential to grasp the true,accurate and comprehensive information about the base of the situation and analysis suitability of protection and exploitation under the guidance of the principles of ecological. And then make specific planning and design scheme. This study will apply the geographic information system which has a powerful spatial analysis function to the planning of hilly type of ecological agricultural tourism park. It can help quantify the complex topography and carry on the three dimensional visualization analysis. In addition, it can be used to do suitability analysis according to the complex ecosystems and a variety of land use types in the park. Then, it can calculate the campus regional distribution of each type of land which is the most suitable construction and guide the construction of specific functional partition. As a result, we can achieve the development goal across showing fully respect to the site, the ecological, and the sustainability of the economic.In this paper, the research content mainly includes the following several parts.The first part mainly introduces that the ecological agricultural tourism park has become the mainstream of the present agriculture sightseeing. And developing ecological sightseeing agriculture in hilly region where the ecological environment is better has the unique conditions and advantages. So combine the complexity of hilly terrain with powerful spatial analysis function of GIS, we can conclude the meaning of applying GIS technology to the planning of hilly type of agricultural sightseeing garden.The second part puts emphasis on the characteristics of the hilly type of ecological agricultural tourism park and the problems at present stage.The third part imports the GIS technology and analyzes the necessity of its application to the planning of hilly type of ecological agricultural tourism park. According to the characteristic in terms of various land use types of hilly type of ecological agricultural tourism park, selecting the analysis method of suitability and analyzing the factors that influence the construction of the park. So we can conclude the types of factors applying to the analysis of multi-suitability and hierarchy and suitability. Ultimately, it is possible that we can establish more appropriate analysis system that is suitable for the hilly type of ecological agricultural tourism park.The fourth part uses LuJiang ecological agricultural tourism park as an example to discuss about how to apply theory to practice in the project. By means of making research on the hilly terrain, market and function orientation, and making use of GIS technology to the analysis of multi-suitability, finally we can work out a distribution curve of all kinds of land use types that are appropriate to be planned. With the guidance of the distribution curve, we can make the specific functional partition and the concrete construction in order to achieve the goals that both showing respect to the characteristics of the site and protecting the regional ecological system during the construction. In addition, we can reach the goal of developing ecology and economic sustainably through forming the optimum planning scheme and the space development pattern based on the site gradually.The final part summarizes the main results of the research in this paper and makes some suggestions about the development of the GIS technology in the hilly type of ecological agricultural tourism park.
