This article takes the control strategy of pure electric bus based on the mountainous area as research topic, and the work is based on the actual engineering requirements.In this paper, the overall structure of the target vehicle is analyzed. On the basis of vehicle controller, the vehicle control network is built, and the software structure is designed based on the vehicle control task.The pure electric vehicle control strategy, including the driving control strategy, energy management and security management strategy, and the vehicle driving control strategy is the core of pure electric vehicle control. First of all, the article divides the driving mode of vehicle by analysis the demand of vehicle control, which takes electric power device characteristics as a starting point. Afterward, it describes the starting mode, normal driving mode and the braking energy recovery mode in detail. Rely on the actual situation and the needs of the project, and takes the realization of the smooth start of various mountain roads and braking energy recovery by the use of switching brake pedal as a target, the article designs the starting mode and braking energy recovery mode control strategy.In order to verify the vehicle driving strategy meets the vehicle dynamic performance requirements, this thesis establishes pure electric vehicle model in ADVISOR. The simulation of the model under ECE-EUDC cycle, and the maximum speed, acceleration time and maximum climb gradient of vehicle are the output results. The simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the control strategy.Because the simulation is mainly aimed at the normal driving mode, in order to determine some parameters of the starting mode and braking energy recovery mode in the strategy, a lot of road tests were carried out in this thesis. Firstly, the important parameters of the automobile are calibrated according to the actual situation before debugging. Then it establishes data monitoring and record platform in LABVIEW. Through continuous debugging and improvement, the appropriate control parameters are obtained on finally. Through the road test, the control strategy can reach a steady start, the dynamic demand of the car driving normally, and the braking energy recovery by the use of switching brake pedal. The article achieves the established goals.
