Damage Assessment Of Shipboard Aircrafts Parked In Aircraft Carrier’s Hangar

In modern military war, aircraft carrier shows its powerful ability as a strategic deterrence and operational platform. Shipboard aircrafts whose performance determines the capability of the aircraft carrier are the main weapon of aircraft carrier. The hangar of aircraft carrier is an important cabin what is used for parking, maintaining and repairing shipboard aircrafts. The safety of hangar ensures the shipboard aircrafts’ capability; even ensure the aircraft carrier’s safety. Therefore, it is necessary to study the problem of damage assessment of shipboard aircrafts parked in aircraft carrier’s hangar.In this dissertation, the characteristic of aircraft carrier’s hangar is analyzed. And the shipboard aircrafts parked in aircraft carrier’s hangar have been considered. By analyzing target characteristic of the structure of the target, engine, fuel system, weapons system, we have studied the damage mechanism of target. Combining with the research background that the shipboard aircrafts which are parked in the hangar are different from aircrafts which are in battling behavior, and on the basis of dividing damage level the intersection model of damage element and target has been built. What’s more the calculation model of damage probability has been built with the method of damage tree.On the basis of the above theoretical research, the calculate system of damage probability of the shipboard aircrafts parked in aircraft carrier’s hangar has been designed and developed with C/C++ in VS2010 development platform. And the damage probability that a missile attacks the aircraft carrier’s hangar where F/A-18 shipboard aircrafts are parked under different combat conditions has been calculated by the calculation system. Through analyzing of the results of the calculation, the factors which influence the damage probability and their influence law have been concluded. The establishment of the damage probability calculation system makes the calculation of damage probability to realize digitization and platform, which also provides a calculation platform for the damage probability of shipboard aircrafts parked in aircraft carrier’s hangar.
