Carrier borne aircraft arresting equipment is a kind of important safeguard equipment for aircraft carrier. It is used to stop an carrier borne aircraft with certain speed in a short distance. The performance of arresting system designed will directly affect the overloading that a carrier borne aircraft will bear, the arresting distance on the flying deck as well as the changes of tensile force of arresting belt. So we should study the arresting system with dynamic simulation concerning the aircraft landing process, in order to define the optimal change law of arresting force and configuration parameters of output arresting force device as well as effective control method.Firstly, the dissertation summarizes the application, development and study status quo of arresting equipment of carrier borne aircraft. The significance and background of the study are presented. As to the problem that overloading of aircraft, tensile force of belt, arresting distance can't exceed the bounds of indexes. The change law of arresting force is designed. The arresting force designed is analyzed with dynamic simulation in order to define if it can meet the various performance indexes.Secondly, the construction and working principle of MK7.mod3 hydraulic energy absorption arresting device, commonly used on present aircraft carrier, is introduced. The mechanic configuration of energy absorption device of arresting system is presented in detail. The control principle concerning output a certain change of arresting force is introduced in detail. The mathematical model of arresting device is established during arresting process. The control characteristic and method of arresting device is presented.At last, According to the current domestic situation, the output method of ideal arresting force under various performance indexes is presented. The law of throttle valve throttle area of absorber is given in theory. The Simulink part of MATLAB program is applied in building the dynamic simulation model during the arresting process. The simulation result is validated and analyzed in detail. There are some disadvantages in essence for the mathematical control method of energy absorption device. So the control parts of arresting device are improved in order to improve the safety trials and working efficient of arresting device during the arresting process.
