With the development of the space life science, international space science competition mainly reflected in how to effectively use the space environment, including a series of scientific research like the life sciences. Because of the special complexity of the spatial microgravity environment, conventional analytical separation methods are difficult to meet the demand. So, how to apply the existing theories and technologies to study the spatial samples will be critical. The technologies that will be applied to space analytic a devices must optimize the test conditions which demand miniaturized, integrated, and automation. All the methods used in the space environment will provide a theoretical basis and technical support for the analysis of the apace biological samples.Because of the free-flow electrophoresis technology was easy to operation process, small size and light weight, and low power consumption advantages of having a separate space lab environment. This study hopes to free flow electrophoresis technology for space separation of biological samples, conventional free-flow electrophoresis optimize to design a free-flow electrophoresis chip to separation of proteins and nucleic acids in the space. Using the properties of the protein isoelectric point, By controlling the p H of the buffer so that the protein positive charge, then separation with the nucleic acid. negatively charged under electric field. By comparing the separation effect, at a voltage of 300 V, the separation of the sample is better than others voltage.In the space of bio-separation module designed protein and nucleic acid free flow electrophoresis separation chip which include chip devices and it’s fasteners, high voltage power module, liquid storage box, and fluid Control Module. The entire apparatus is made of an aluminum alloy material.The project is under the background of the development and application of major national instrument which analysis spatial biological sample. The outcome provide theoretical foundation and technical support for Spatial device and has a strong innovation significance.
