The urbanization process of the contemporary society continues to accelerate, problem of the shortage of urban land continues to stand out, high rise buildings continue to grow and the density is large. With the development of economy, per capita car ownership is increasing, this makes the contradiction between residential environment and parking space more obvious. In order to resolve such contradictions, it becomes a trend to build a garage on the basis of existing high-rise building. This paper is based on an addition underground garage of a rebuilding project, analyze the influence of the underground garage to the dynamic features and seismic performance of a high-rise building, it aims to provide certain reference for the reconstruction project.It can cause the change of solid state of the bottom of high-rise building after adding a garage. At the same time, it will affect the quality and rigidity of the structure. This paper will study the effect of this change on the seismic performance of the high-rise building, it aims to provide certain reference for the reconstruction project. Under the action of earthquake, different forms of the garage roof have different effects on the high-rise building and underground garage roof connection. The paper briefly analyzes the influence of characteristics of the different garage roofs.First of all, summarize the research on the structure calculation model and the embedded structure of the high-rise building, it provides theoretical basis for the research and analysis of this paper. Secondly, modeling of existing tall buildings by SATWE, for the performance of the vibration; the response spectrum analysis and time history analysis, it will test the reasonable of the structure. Thirdly, using ANSYS to build two models, one of them is high-rise building without adding garage, the other is high-rise building with adding garage. Comparing dynamic characteristics and seismic performance of the two models, verify the feasibility of adding garage. At last, comparing the effects on the high-rise building and underground garage roof connection of different garage roof under earthquake. Evaluating the advantages and disadvantages of different underground garage roof form, provide suggestions for structure design.
