The contents of this paper is to measure the instantaneous V/H of aerial camera accurately using the method of image matching, and then using the value of V/H to accomplish image compensation to improve the image quality of aerial camera. The quality of aerial image after image compensation using existing device can’t afford the project’s accuracy demand, and the most important reason leading to this phenomenon is because of the low measurement accuracy of V/H, so the point of this paper is to measure the V/H accurately when its value is large.During the research process of this subject have analyzed the working principle based on and the shortcomings of the traditional measurement synthetically, then pointed out that the new method of V/H measurement should be consistent with the request of small volume, light weight, low power consumption, highly integrated and high real-time quality. This paper using a digital measurement of which the working principle is to measure the image displacement of two pictures taken continuously using the way of image matching, and then calculate the value of V/H. This paper can be divided into the following several sections, firstly, the digital method of measurement has been analyzed theoretically and been verified the feasibility of this measurement in theory. Then analyzed several classic image matching approach and have done some simulation comparison verification between gray correlation algorithm and phase correlation algorithm, then decided to using the phase correlation algorithm in this paper after verification. In order to improve the measurement accuracy and the apply scope, several certain improvement has been made, include add the logarithmic polar coordinate transformation and interpolation algorithm to the original algorithm, after these operations done, the algorithm can solve the problem of rotated image matching and sub-pixel image matching. Finally, set up the experimental platform, in order to simulate filming process of aerial camera we mounted the industrial camera on a rotating platform, the industrial camera took pictures during the platform. Then compare the measured value of V/H with the set value before experiment, ultimately get the conclusion that the measurement accuracy of this method can afford the aerial camera image motion compensation accuracy requirements, verify the actual operability of this measurement method.At the last of this paper has figured out the future work needed to be done for the new measurement method. |
