Asynchronous motor has a wide range of applications in industrial areas due to its low cost and high reliability. And how to improve the speed performance of the motor control system effectively gaining more and more attention. Vector control as a kind of advanced control strategies, which can control motor flux and torque separately. So asynchronous motor can achieve similar control performance with DC motor. Asynchronous motor speed sensor-less vector control system overcomes the inconvenience caused by installing sensor in AC speed regulation system, and become an important research direction of modern AC drive control. In this paper, after finishing the asynchronous motor vector control system, and then establishing a speed sensor-less vector control system of asynchronous motor based on model reference adaptive system, the control systems were verified by digital experiment. The major work of this paper including:(1) Discussed the theory of vector control in-depth. Detailed description about vector coordinate transformation theory and asynchronous motor mathematical model in different coordinate system. Selected the vector control method of Rotor Field Oriented. Vector control system of asynchronous motor was built based on SVPWM strategies.(2) Made a comparison on the existing speed identification algorithms. Model reference adaptive system theory was selected to identify the speed of asynchronous motor. Reference model of the system was improved against to the drift problem caused by integral error. Speed Sensor-less Vector Control System of asynchronous motor was built.(3) Digital control system based on TMS320F2812 DSP was built, and the software design of the whole control system was completed. Comprehensive experimental study was carried out, the experimental results verified the feasibility and effectiveness of the Speed Sensor-less Vector Control System of asynchronous motor based on MRAS.
