What is the paper studies is the reciprocating pressurization feed system. The simulation module components of the reciprocating pressurization feed system are constructed based on AMESim software according to the methodology of modularization modeling and simulation. And then by connecting the corresponding simulation components, the general model of reciprocating pressurization feed system is set up and the working and startup processes of different models of the systems are simulated.Firstly, the reciprocating pressurization feed system can be divided into supply pipeline, propellant tank, redactor, electromagnetic valves, gas generator and piston pump and so on. And the lumped parameter mathematical models are established as the basic modules of the system such as redactor, electromagnetic valves and piston pump.Secondly, the simulation models of redactor, electromagnetic valves, gas generator and piston pump are developed by using the model libraries provided by AMESim software,. Then the simulation models of gas generator are constructed with the use of model development tool AMESet of the AMESim software and the starting and working process of the system was simulated.Finally, the simulation of the whole reciprocating pressurization feed system has been completed and with the constructed simulation models, the working processes are well reflected. The results show that the pressure fluctuation amplitudes of the outlet pressure of gas generator decrease with increasing the equivalent volume of the gas generator downstream. Furthermore, it takes more time to fill the accumulator for higher pressure in the accumulator, which benefits the startup of the reciprocating pump. However, when the reciprocating pump operates normally after startup, lower pressure in the accumulator can increase the capacity to regulate the outlet pressure of reciprocating pump, and the outlet pressure becomes smoother.
