As an effective solution to the problems of energy crisis and environmental pollution, electric vehicle has attracted more and more attention, the electric car race is also gradually carried out. Using computer simulation technology in the development of vehicle can not only shorten the development cycle, lower research and development costs, but also overall improve the optimization level of vehicle system. This thesis used Optimum Lap to analyze characteristics of a racing car on a given track. Used ADVISOR to analysis the dynamic performance, economy and energy consumption, et al. Taking drive cycle data as a bridge to combine the two, consider the actual performance demand of the racing car and the parts test parameters to carry out research work in this paper.①Established a durable event of FSE track model of Xiangyang Speedway in Optimum lap, and the simulation data of CQUFSE2014 and CQUFSE2015 in this track has been used as the drive cycles in ADVISOR, to establish a foundation for following simulation model.②Taking the power system of racing car in 2014 as a basis for 2015 racing season, the design goals of dynamic performance, fuel economy and driving range has been developed. According the design goals, parameters of the power source systems and transmission systems involved are matched and studied. The matching design includs motor power, battery pack, the transmission ratio based on best lap time.③According to the imperfect of ADVISOR, this paper realize the rear drive vehicle simulation model of electric vehicle by second development. The simulation model consist of vehicle, motor, battery pack, transmission system, wheel/axles, regenerative braking force distribution control and vehicle control method in ADVISOR with the parameter matching design of power source systems which has been established.④ On the basis of simulation models of vehicle power transmission system of the whole vehicle. Dynamic performance simulation of vehicle, the mileage of durable drive cycle, the SOC state of battery pack, the current and voltage of battery output, battery temperature curve, break energy recovery and the energy consumption distribution of vehicle were carried out, and then simulation data and test data were analyzed. The results show that: in 2015 season, the dynamic performance of racing car meet the design requirements, and with a certain margin. The vehicle simulation results will establish a data reference for detailed design of each subsystem.
